To an Armored Amour
A dragon can be useful, some blow hot and others, cold... And some are shy and hide from you while others are too bold! And some are lost in memories, some distant recollection... But whatever kind of drake you have--my dragon is perfection! She's quick to smile, and quick to laugh, yet thinks in visions lofty... A neck as long as a giraffe... Sharp fangs, but she's a softy. I do my best to cheer her up, to find some way to ease her... You get that way around her, you want so much to please her. She's good for kissing, hugs, and snugs, and patting soft and near... And lets you use her claws to open up your ginger beer. She's not demanding cars, or movies, or a lot of clothes... And only looks confused if you should gravely beep her nose. You kind of have to grasp the fact that she's a novel being. She's careful of her movements; you can use her back for skiing. She always takes your presents, never petulant or whiney. Just give her anything, if it is metal, and it's shiny. She
